At the initiative of the Nantes City Lab, the metropolitan council, with the help of a company consortium (which included LACROIX City), carried out 2 phases of experimentation with a 100% autonomous shuttle. In the second stage, which was run in Spring 2019, the shuttle proved a success in operation at the heart of road traffic.
KEOLIS, Navya and Paris CDG airport came together to enable the deployment of three shuttles for airport employees and visitors, in the airport and hotel areas.
EasyMile & Transdev made it possible for an autonomous shuttle to navigate 1.25 km, with 3 stops to pass, thus facilitating the movement of employees in the industrial zone of Rungis.
EasyMile & RATP tested a 100% electric driverless shuttle in Vincennes, along a predefined route of 300 meters. The shuttle offers seating for six and is equipped with an embedded computer system. It is controlled by cameras, sensors and 3D road recognition.
For the first time in France, a self-driving RATP bus made a journey in real-life traffic conditions. The section on which the experiment took place stretches 6 kilometers and includes 15 traffic light junctions. The aim is to ensure that the autonomous bus is able to pick up on the environment in which it is traveling to act accordingly, particularly when crossing intersections.
